History of the Rainerfhof
The “Rainerhof” has been owned by the Fischbacher family since 1775. This centuries-old tradition and development is reflected in many rooms in the house. The Rainerhof, formerly Hinterraingut, was honoured with the title of “Erdhof” in 1981. It was bestowed upon our grandfather Vitus Fischbacher († 2006).
“Erbhof” is a title, an “honourable emphasis” for an inherited agricultural property that has been faithfully retained. This title is awarded by the provincial government of Salzburg, at the request of the head of the estate, provided there is evidence that the farm has been passed down through a family’s male line for at least 200 years.
The Rainerhof – Today
In 2016 the Rainerhof was completely renovated with a new and modern design. An elegant ambience and superior apartments with breakfast included complete the holiday experience. Hosts Carina and Hannes ensure that the farm's tradition is maintained.
